Social Media Management
Bird's Nest Bar needed a social media strategy that increased engagement, attracted new customers, and reflected the personality of the brand. Campaign Example
Wing Madness
To increase engagement during March Madness, I created Wing Madness, a multi-week social media campaign that turned Bird's Nest's signature wing sauces into a tournament-style bracket. Followers voted for their favorite flavors through Instagram Stories, while custom graphics, recap posts, and interactive updates kept the audience engaged throughout each round. The campaign encouraged repeat participation, generated conversation around the brand, and highlighted Bird's Nest's most popular menu item in a fun, community-driven way.

Takeaways
Managing social media for Bird's Nest gives me the opportunity to combine content strategy, copywriting, graphic design, photography, and campaign development while working with an established local brand. One of the biggest lessons I continue to learn is that successful social media isn't about following every trend. It's about understanding what makes a brand unique and creating content that feels authentic to the people who already love it.
I focus on creating content that longtime regulars relate to while introducing Bird's Nest to new customers. Whether it's an interactive campaign like Wing Madness, a seasonal promotion, or a spontaneous moment inside the restaurant, every post is created with the goal of building community while supporting the restaurant's business goals.
Since taking over the account, the audience has grown by 80%, and the content has reached more than 116,000 accounts in a 90-day period through organic social media. Seeing those results continues to reinforce that the best content isn't always the trendiest. It's the content that stays true to the brand, encourages people to engage, and gives them a reason to come back.
